Incredible time out on the marsh hunting redfish with Cam! Despite challenging conditions we caught 3 sheepshead and 4 huge redfish on a half day cruise in Cam’s tricked out Maverick. Captain Cameron took April and I out to chase the redfish, letting us know a few days beforehand that we may struggle to succeed due to the cold snap. He told us he’d take us out again if we didn’t succeed, but succeed we DID! (As well as whippin through the marsh like a champion, so fun) Cameron was extremely resilient and we could tell he was truly giving it his all. Pole pushed us for miles as he instructed us perfectly where to cast on the clock. Not to mention he’s a genuine person and great to be around! Had an amazing day on the water fly fishing with Capt. Cam! He put me on 4 or 5 different schools of what seemed to be thousands of Red Fish! Unreal! I grew up here at Wrightsville beach and have never experienced anything like it. His knowledge of the fish and the water is unmatched. Best guided trip I’ve ever been on. HIGHLY recommend! Less
