As a long‑distance runner, I hit a plateau and started dealing with occasional knee pain. It became clear that endurance alone wasn’t enough—I needed strength.What truly sets Alloy Cary apart is the quality of the coaching. The coaches are exceptionally knowledgeable, attentive, and intentional—and Coach Austin, in particular, is outstanding. In a small‑group setting, he provides real coaching: watching form closely, explaining the why, and progressing training thoughtfully. As a strength beginner, I always felt supported, yet consistently challenged. It’s an especially great environment for anyone new to lifting.After 80+ sessions, I’ve seen major improvements in both my strength and running speed. Coach Austin pushed me to dig deeper and reach levels of strength I never thought I had, while Coach Tevin brings all the elements together—integrating nutrition, rest, recovery, yoga, and regular accountability sessions with each member.
