I hired AGC Concrete to pour a basic concrete patio, and I'm very happy with the final result. The crew, led by Vince, was efficient, knowledgeable, and left the area clean; the patio looks great.When Jake came out to do the initial estimate, he was especially helpful. Since I’d never had a patio installed before, I wasn’t sure what all to consider, but he asked the right questions to help me figure out what I wanted. That gave me confidence in moving forward with the project.That said, the overall communication could have been better. The project ended up starting in early October, even though the original estimate was mid/end June. While I understand that weather delays and busy schedules can push timelines, a delay of over three months felt excessive, particularly without regular updates along the way. During the actual work, I often had to reach out to Andrew directly to get clarity on what was happening, like whether the crew was done for the day or when they'd be returning. More proactive updates would’ve made the process feel a lot smoother.Overall, the quality of the work was excellent, and I’m really happy with the outcome. With a bit more consistent communication throughout the process, this would have easily been a five-star experience.
