He was told, it is not company policy to provide this service for anyone who they are not currently working for... He came home upset and anxious as he needed to get it done (he has been in Cranleigh for 50 years, lives only a short walk from HB and has more than likely walked past their window everyday until of late). I then had to escort him all the way down Cranleigh to the other solicitors who gladly did it in 5 minutes for a small fee of £5.... at least the boxes were ticked correctly I guess. Less

I have to say I have never had to deal with Solicitors before and was dreading it. I spoke with Mark Wisby, who went through every aspect of my case with me and my husband, and advised me that I indeed did have a case. He made everything very clear on how things would happen, and of course I was incredibly nervous about underlying hidden cost, and Mark made me feel very comfortable after he explained exactly how this would work, and put all of the right measures in place for me. I will not go into details of my legal issues, but there has been times when I have been very anxious and a bit of a state, and even on a Sunday afternoon, when I was panicking I emailed Mark expecting to hear from him on the Monday, but Mark took the time, as soon as he received my email Sunday afternoon, to come away from his family and called me to reassure me. I am a very tough women and have been all my life, but what has happened to me has broken me, and I feel that this solicitor really gets that, and he is very straight to the point, and there is no sugar coating it with him, but he has made this awful process I have had to go through, much less scary than I thought it was going to be. He has also put me in contact with some very good professional people while this case has been ongoing, one of them is a professor Valarie Lund who is a ear Nose and Throat Specialist from UCLH, and as a medical professional myself, I found her to be very nice in her manner, which is not always the way with consultants and specialist, and she again was very to to the point, but again very reassuring with the information regarding my aftermath of symptoms. Hart Brown Solicitors Review – Incompetent and Unprofessional Hart Brown Solicitors are probably the worst solicitors I have had the misfortune to deal with in over 25 years of business. They were instructed by the freeholder of my leasehold flat to deal with a lease extension. I am required to meet their costs, although I am not their client, so I am prevented from complaining directly to Hart Brown about these issues. Not only have they overcharged in my opinion (having obtained 3 other quotes which were half the price for the same work), they have completely mishandled a straightforward lease extension, drafting the wrong terms not once but twice. When their mistake was pointed out the first time, they denied the error and only changed their position some 2 weeks later. In the meantime, I had incurred extra costs due to having to instruct in independent surveyor to re negotiate the terms, and even when this was done, Hart Brown drafted the lease incorrectly again, making the same mistake they originally made. They were not even able to get the name of our Conveyancer right in correspondence. When the mistake was pointed out for the second time, they again requested £500+Vat to fix it, adding to my escalating costs. Obviously we replied disputing the extra charges, but they are now ignoring our emails. Total clowns! DO NOT USE Hart Brown Solicitors Less
