Allen and his team were very friendly and professional. Our large project of refacing and repairing 3 decks including a deck and bridge on our koi pond went very well. Old decking was demo-ed and hauled away, existing structure was shored up and refaced using quality materials and a modern cable railing was added. His team even showed up the day after a snow storm to continue work! We couldn't be happier with the finished product and would recommend Allen in a heartbeat!

Allen & his crew brought our dream to life! We had an old deck that we barely used & Allen turned it into a year round extra room! We used EzE Breeze windows & installed a mini-split to heat/cool. I’m a little late in sharing my review but perhaps all the better because we have had a good few months to confirm that we made the best decision working with Allen and Decks Unlimited. We have a very large deck that spans the back of our home and it was well past time to get it updated. I called a reputable local contractor that had 100s of great reviews- he came out and was honest that our project was out of their wheelhouse. The first recommendation he gave me was Allen/ Decks Unlimited, and the second he gave me another well reviewed (by that I mean lots of reviews) contractor. Long story short we decided to go with Allen and could not be happier. Quality, knowledge, communication- everything was on point. We have a beautiful deck that was constructed on time and on budget. Allen and his crew of Decks Unlimited of Charlotte did a great job recently updating our screen porch and deck. They reframed the porch and deck and installed Trex deck railings, Stainmaster vinyl plank flooring and Eze-Breeze windows. Their work was of high quality and great craftsmanship. They showed up as promised and completed the work as planned. Allen and his team had great ideas for the project and treated the work site as if it was their home. The price was very reasonable and the best value compared to several other quotes we received. We would highly recommend Allen and Decks Unlimited of Charlotte.

I’ve known of Allen and of his workmanship for many years! they came out and did an amazing renovation on our deck to be able to put a sauna in by supporting that with the proper undergirding. Createda seamless upgrade, adding 3 feet to our deck and multiple posts underneath the support the extra weight of the sauna. Allen has always done quality work and I would hire him. Any chance I get to do any more work when it comes to deck work. Absolutely experts!

My wife and I have u􀀁lized Deck’s Unlimited and owner Allen Haggen’s services on two different homes we have owned in the Charlote area. The first home he built a 500+ sq ft outdoor living space with vaulted paneled ceiling and Eze-Breeze windows. This was a major undertaking and Allen and team did a wonderful job. He was great to work with. He had great ideas and put up with our constant changes as the project progressed. His entire team was polite and each day the work site was cleaned and tidied up.We moved later into a new build home that had a large covered patio on it that was about 300+ sq ft. While our new neighbors homes were completed most were going the screened in route. We knew immediately we were calling Decks Unlimited and have Eze-Breeze windows again. Allen even though it had been 5 years or so since our first project, Allen was quick to remember us. He have us a very fair quote and we again hired them for this project. He and his team completed framing quickly and once windows were built they again were able to complete installing them and the doors in a day. Everyone of our friends that have seen the completed project quickly asked who did the work it looks great.I cannot say enough good things about Allen and Decks Unlimited.I am not receiving anything for providing this review other than the satisfaction of hopefully helping a small business owner and great guy be successful.If you are reading this as part of your consideration of hiring Allen and Decks Unlimited I recommend after reading this to close it out and hire Allen!Patrick Nagy
