Extremely Disappointed – Would Not RecommendI had my first (and last) visit to this grooming place on May 1st for an appointment at 9:00 a.m. with my two senior dogs. I arrived 5–10 minutes early. The groomer showed up right at 9 a.m. No other staff were present. After a brief conversation, he mentioned he needed to step out to go to the bank for “just five minutes” and would only leave after another staff member arrived. I agreed, assuming my dogs would not be left alone.Minutes later, I turned around to check on them, and to my shock, I saw both dogs left alone in a dark room, no staff, no water, no supervision, nothing. The groomer had left despite what he said. I tried calling the number listed on the storefront, navigating through multiple options to reach someone, but no one answered for over 30 minutes. He finally returned at 9:35 a.m., casually saying it “just took a bit longer.”What’s worse is that my dogs are 14 years old, suffer from anxiety, and have never been left alone at home, even for a few minutes. We always have someone with them or hire a sitter. This was incredibly irresponsible and distressing.I have since filed a formal complaint with the SPCA, as this type of care is completely unacceptable. It was clear to me that the priority here was not the dogs’ well being, but just running a business. People like this should not be trusted with animals.Absolutely do not recommend taking your dogs or any pets to this place. The best way to make sure people like this learn their lesson is by holding them accountable. Leaving animals unsupervised, especially vulnerable senior dogs, is not just careless, it’s cruel. No one in the pet care business should ever abuse the trust owners place in them or treat animals this way.
