I approached Alastair for belief coding on one of several chronic health issues. I'm a bit of a cynic, but not wanting to rely on constant opiates while awaiting surgery, I had a belief coding session for pain management. While I'm obviously not magically cured (which would require re-growing my jaw bone), I have a had a significant reduction in the daily pain I was feeling and have not required any painkillers since, with even the bad days being much less painful than previously, and the daily background pain almost entirely re-interpreted as mild discomfort. A very odd but very effective experience.
