Loretta is also an exceptional, high-caliber professional whose experience and compassion were evident throughout the process.The care taken in preparing and presenting our father was outstanding and brought tremendous comfort to our family during an incredibly difficult time. Meyers guided us through every step and coordinated everything seamlessly, providing a truly comprehensive, white-glove level of service.One thoughtful addition that would make their services even more complete would be an optional video-recording and photography package for ceremonies held at the chapel. In the midst of grief, our family did not think to arrange this, and it is the one thing we now wish we had.We could not have entrusted our father to more capable and respectful hands. I just had a funeral for my husband, Meyer's in Parkville handled it. The staff was considerate and caring. They thought of everything including providing thank you cards for me and extra memorial pamphlets. The facility was beautiful, the sound system was excellent and we had a lovely ceremony. I am so grateful to have been able to work with such wonderful people during this very difficult time in my life.

My dad had a prepaid burial policy from 8 years ago.From my 1st phone call to Loretta to the burial, I was so impressed with Loretta.She did an Amazing job communicating through the entire process.She gave some suggestions that we took.When we made a change, she was quick to complete.When a minor error was noticed, it was immediately resolved way before anyone would have known.Top notch, in my opinion.

What an incredible place. When my wife passed, I didn’t know what to do or where to turn but the staff at Meyer’s truly made everything as easy as it could possibly be. The organization of the process was truly comforting. When I walked in I was completely lost and when I walked out we had her service completely planned. Their compassion through the process made them seem more like friends of the family rather than a business. They told me that the day of the service that all I would have to do is show up and they would handle everything and they were right about that. They truly took care of every detail. Even after her service they have continued to be instrumental in navigating this difficult time. They have even reached out with support services to help. I could go on for pages on everything they have done for me and my family and all that they continue to do, but lastly I will say, they truly care and it shows in every step of the way.

Goodness, five stars doesn’t even equate for the professionalism, courtesy, compassionate, treatment Meyers gave to my family for my dad. They never stopped, just continuously accommodating for us while keeping us ‘in bounds with our budget. They understood our budget and were very respectful,honest and polite to us. Treated us with absolute class and courtesy!Todd, Justin, and John guided, nurtured and protected our family from our very first contact to our last. They comforted our raw emotions state with Grace, Integrity, Respecting our religion and traditional values. Todd gave me a genuine connection, (as well the entire staff) but it was uninterrupted, the only thing that mattered and available 24 hours a day. (even when he wasn’t necessarily available, your ok’ to call) Always responding in a timely manner, with clear conceptual comprehension and understanding for your arrangements. We never felt rushed or like we were “just business” or unimportant.I mean these folks really knocked it out of the park. I never wanted this day to come, but I wouldn’t have changed the way it happened once it arrived. If you could put “Mom and pop” love and affection on a funeral home - it’s undisputedly Myers funeral chapel! They give you ‘In for a penny; In for a pound’ treatment with full regards to your budget, is what I experienced. The staff was kind and professional and the events were handled with care. There was up-to-the-minute communication to ensure that programs and write-ups on the internet were correct. The only major disappointment was the makeup and hair of our loved one. He did not look like he did in real life. His wavy hair was combed straight back, his smile was non-existent and he had pink lipstick on. We asked that this be remedied, but it was not.The chapel was beautiful and comfortable. We recommend the funeral home to others for their loved ones.

I cannot say enough great things about Myer’s Funeral Chapel Northland. From beginning to end was a top notch experience. They were available and accommodating even in the late hours when we were unsure of how to handle my mother’s passing. They were prompt and considerate of the emotional distress we were experiencing. From our first meeting their process was seamless. A true one stop shop of preparing my mother’s body with respect, picking the casket and extras without trying to oversell us just to make a quick buck, prayer cards, programs, flowers, transportation with funeral escorts, absolutely everything so we had nothing to worry about. They even handled the financial aspect of contacting our insurance so we could concentrate on being with our family. They were well organized and the online streaming of my mother’s mass and picture slide show was truly classy. From now until forever we put our trust in Myer’s Northland. Thank you Todd for sending my mother off the way she deserved 🙏🏽

Having only visited a funeral home on a few occasions, we didn’t know what to expect from my mother’s prepaid funeral from 14 years ago. Todd DeMint met as at the door and all my concerns vanished. His attention to detail and compassion he shows was extremely comforting. Not only did he review everything with us, he talked about the time he met with my mother. That extra touch meant the world to us.From the planning stage to the actual funeral, he attended to every detail and made all the guests welcomed.
