Fast and good food , just service for this price it’s not ok . We pay more than 4 000 for 2 steak 🥩. But when we came in - nobody say even hi . I found this place in google maps where I live not far . It’s was hard day for me , so I came to have good dinner in good atmosphere. Good diner I have - but atmosphere- no 🥲. The food here is excellent. I can see (and taste) why it has all the great reviews. We shared a 330g MB4/5 Wagyu Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection on their 'Josper' charcoal grille, it was melt in the mouth delicious. Accompanied by fries and grilled asparagus, it was a great combination. The staff were super friendly and explained the menu with good knowledge of the cuts. It is also a great deli and butchers and we had to take some home for another day. Unfortunately we didn't take photos but everything was presented very well. Couldn't recommend enough! We had a birthday celebration for my Father the other day and had a great experience at Bangkok Bob's. I enjoyed the open kitchen concept and the staff were incredible. Compliments to the chef and the retail manager, they made our dining experience a memorable one. The meat and produce were of amazing quality and was cooked exactly to our desired doneness. My favourite steak restaurant in all of Thailand. The variety of different kinds of breeds and on top you can choose from grass-, grain fed or Wagyu is second to none. Food was great here. We came here with 7 people and the total was around 12-13k. We ordered a whole bunch of sides as well and a bottle of Australian wine. Highly recommend the medium rare ribeye (it’s what they recommended me). The garlic bread and chocolate mousse were also incredible. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of them. I love it! The open concept, service and the ambient. It all felt very homely. Food service was prompt and everything was cooked to order. Prices are affordable and the seating area is air-conditioned. I ordered a 300g Sirloin steak in medium rare, mashed potatoes and Bob's salad. The mashed potatoes went really well with the steak, which was unseasoned. Salt and pepper was provided, and a bulb of garlic. Combining everything generated the maximum umami. I ended the meal with an apple crumble, which was warmed up. A balance of texture and acidity from the apples can be tasted, with hints of cinnamon. My only gripe is that the ice cream isn't really a scoop, but a spoon full of scoop. Overall, I'll definitely be back to Bangkok Bob's when I am craving for a good meal! Less

Bangkok Bob's is the steakhouse which expanded from Mr.Bob's meat trading business. It serves various kinds of beef and seafoods which you can select in the refrigerator and ask the shop to cook it or you may take home. Cooking for the grilled items are in Mr.Bob's self-designated grilling oven which the guest can see it amazingly. I would introduce Tomahawk and Sirloin Steak. The restaurant is not big but still they have provided almost 10 tables to serve the guest. Price wise is medium-high which is still value for money and there is a parking lot for about 10-12 cars available. Less

We enjoyed the food a lot. The steaks were outstanding and the starters were a good sized portion although I was not a fan of the portobello mushrooms. Could have done with more blue cheese and the fried spinach did not work for me. The steaks were cooked perfectly but I feel that the sides were lacking imagination and were very plain. I have seen a lot of pretence and rip offs in my time and as far as I am concerned "simplicity is elegance" A Steakhouse has one prime objective to serve up the best possible steak with some simple accompaniments,.. like great Garlic Bread ,,great Salad ,..Portobello Mushrooms,..etc.,Great potatoes and a Good Aussie or California Red! The adjoining table shared a bottle of Chateau Grand Puy du Cas ,..a charming and spicy red from Pauillac ,..(a great wine for an excellents steak experience) which I used to import as a Wine Merchant in Europe in years gone by. Whilst the restaurant does not pretend to be a luxury 5 star restaurant it is comfortable ,..has understated Mediterranean overtones and this allows the diner to focus on the "job at hand ",.which is to enjoy the best steak in Bangkok,..The accompanying dishes belong to the "simple but classic repertoire",.such as great garlic bread ,.great salad ,..(We started with some Jamon Serrano cut from the Leg of Jamon...You can have Oysters if you wish ,..or Seafood entrees too... But of course there is nothing like a high quality Aussie Beef steak and this comes from the legendary Jacks Creek ,..(voted the best steak in the world)and cooked/broiled or Grilled in a legendary Josper Charcoal Grill at a high temperature. I know the prices of Top steak restaurants around the world,.. including my home bases such as London and Sydney and this was very reasonable on the price /quality ratio,..It would have cost double the price in Sydney that is for sure,..because here You are only paying for the retail value of the steak (which you can select from the Vitrine) and a cooking Fee!- How good is that ? In fact the steak here might be on a par with the price in Wine Connection,.But don't tell Bob that he is underpriced!.As for the steak itself ,..Go for a marbled one with lots of Fat is my advice because on a Grilled steak "Fat is Flavour" !..I quaffed on a glass of Aussie Hunter Valley Wyndham Estate Shiraz which was dry and had good balance and structure,.. and very good as the Wine by the Glass option,.and they serve some classic Desserts such as Creme Caramel ,..not as good as the one I had in Paris recently ,..but damn well good enough,..As the the publisher of Connoisseur Magazine I am willing to stake my reputation by recommending this place very highly.. The staff are friendly and efficient ,.and I t can't recommend this place highly enough ,..Bob is actually a very serious Importer and Distributor Of High Quality Meat Beef and Lamb really knows the game. Only issue was the 777price of the beef Sunday roast when compared to steak prices seemed a little high for the quantity. But it did include the sides so maybe I'm overreacting. Surprise, gourmet. I had a great experience at Bangkok Bob’s place. I knew the quality of steak was the highest in Bangkok, but I did not know that the menu is so gourmet, international and with a touch of organic greatness. I had this very good beet salad, with glazed pecans, goat cheese- just the right portion. This was the starter. It was followed by a lightly grilled Indonesian soft white fish - I do not recall the name because I was already at my second glass of a fabulous white wine, chosen by Bob -self. Chile con carne, was ordered with the Australian carne which the place is known for, and how I got to know it. A great find in the neighborhood of Sukhumvit, with expatriates at most tables.
