The Pub

April 2026. Brought my wife and adult son for my birthday dinner. I ate here when I was a kid, and wanted my son to experience it. For one, it's in a class of it's own. Even the high-end steakhouses don't grill over charcoal. They don't do anything to SEASON the steaks, but the beef and flame are really all you want. I'm not usually a filet guy but the surf and turf was no joke. Lobster tail was perfectly grilled, as was the tenderloin. There are no-nothing snobs who diss this place, but it's the REAL DEAL. It's a time capsule and a national treasure. Snapper (with sherry) was classic. Prime rib with Yorkshire pudding is timeless. And the prime Porterhouse is the best bargain on the menu.Don't cheap out for $3 and miss the fresh bread.Post golf bar meal at the Pub in Pennsauken. It's going to be closing for renovations until fall. Worth checking out for an old-school steakhouse experience. Salad bar, bread, Prime 20 oz Porterhouse and twice baked potato. Killer Manhattan.
