First time here! This is a hidden gem! The food was excellent, service was wonderful. Denise , our server was a delight and ver attentive, but not overbearing! The salad bar was good. Nothing fancy but efficient and fresh! I would definitely be going back! The place is very very spacious! I enjoyed the ambiance!

I have been coming here since the 1960’s .. some in my family since the 50’s. Absolutely the Best. Food, Service, and Atmosphere!! As a testament to the overall quality .. many of the staff have been here for Many decades. Perhaps my favorite restaurant of All Time.I grew up in Jersey .. but have been in Florida for past 22 years .. Every time I go back The Pub is an absolute must!!

The Prime Rib and Cowboy Bone in Ribeye were both excellent and med rare cooked to perfection! I’ll definitely be back!

My family has been loving The Pub for more than 50 years. Dad first took us as they were a client, and between the delicious meals, fantastic salad bar, chefs cooking on open hearths, eleant meal service from portable hibachi, tudor theme including suits of armor... it remains a favorite for four generations.

Simply the best steak place in NJ. That it has been there for 70 years with staff you see for decades says alot. LOVE the huge steaks hanging over the side of the plate. Delicious, tender and seasoned perfectly! The salad bar is delightful, just save space because you are going to get a large portion of steak!

25/10 stars for service. maureen is the sweetest gem the pub has to offer. very sweet, attentive & just the right bit of humbling. she got everything perfect from cocktails to desserts. super nice to talk to and such a kind soul. will return just to talk with her !!food we got a rack of ribs which where smokey, misquote and falling off the bone. tender. moist. etc DELICOUS. huge portion. i didn't expect that much food for under $35 (plus potato & salad bar) porter house steak, medium was perfectly cooked & well seasoned. again, huge portion !

My family has been visiting The Pub since before I was born, and it remains a special tradition for us — especially since it’s my dad’s favorite place to celebrate his birthday each year. I’m very particular about how my martinis are prepared, and this is one of the few places where I can confidently order one knowing it will be made just right.While the décor may feel a bit dated, it actually adds to the restaurant’s distinctive charm and character. My kids — even my pickiest eater — enjoy the salad bar and the variety of kid-friendly menu options.I’ve seen some comments about the price, but in this case, you truly get what you pay for. The quality of the food and drinks, combined with the consistently excellent service, makes it well worth the cost.
