This was our fifth time renting from Akami, and we were once again completely impressed with our experience! The equipment is always in excellent condition and is very clean. Their communication is excellent, and they always drop off and pick up at times that are convenient for our family. I would highly recommend Akami!!

On August 29, 2025, I reserved a mobility scooter for my niece’s destination wedding trip on Maui for February 9, 2026, from Cloud of Goods. On February 8th, I received an email confirming delivery for the next day; however, upon landing on Maui on the 9th, I was shocked to receive another email from Cloud of Goods canceling my reservation and refunding my payment due to unexpected circumstances! I was frantic! I desperately needed mobility assistance. I immediately looked online for other sources. I was lucky to come across Akamai Mobility. I informed the representative of my situation. She was very professional and sympathetic. She checked her availability and delivery schedule. BOTTOM LINE — there was a mobility scooter at my hotel when I arrived from the airport, and the charge was 50% less than Cloud of Goods!!! I am never using Cloud of Goods for my mobility needs in the future, and I recommend everyone else to use AKAMAI MOBILITY instead. They are more dependable AND less expensive!Who deserts a customer at the last minute after holding a 5-month reservation??? Certainly not a reputable company!!! FOREWARNED IS FOREARMEDTHANK YOU SO MUCH, AKAMAI MOBILITY!!!

My entire experience dealing with Akamai Mobility was great! Ordering a wheelchair for my wife was easy, and the delivery and pickup was flawless. We will definitely rent from them again.

Oh my gosh. These people are so amazing! They were so helpful and accommodating. They have a wide variety of rental options and help you decide what is best for you. No pressure. Free local delivery and pickup. They are service oriented in a world that has forgotten what service is. I could not recommend them more highly!
