This is our second time here and it is just as great as the first! We live in the NoVA area and this place is by far, my favorite indian restaurant I’ve been to. We always make a stop here on our drive to see family because it is SO GOOD. The naan is so fresh and hot, perfect!!!!

Being from NoVA, there are tons of places to get food from. But this place is the jam. A lot of nova Indian restaurants are less care/more profit. This restaurant is different.I got the chicken karahi, and made it hot, and it came out great. All their naan is fantastic. The owner is incredibly nice and very welcoming.Didn’t take a photo because I was starved.Also, Pokora starter and the fried potato (forgive me, forgot the name, Aloo something) are great to start with 4 people.Great spot, small town, great food.

Group of 8 people visited the place during our roadtrip in the area. Had both veg and non-veg: every single dish stood out!Veg grp had Paneer Tikka Masala, Paneer Kadai, and dry fry with garlic naans and rice.Non veg grp had chicken biryani and 65.Everyone loved the food, flavors and unique taste of every dish.Had the opportunity to meet the showrunner: Kumar.Great gentleman, had a great conversation!Highly recommended. I was excited to try this restaurant as I love Indian food. The restaurant itself is basic and looked a little shabby. There was only one table with customers but we had to wait to be seated. Once we were seated we were acutely aware of the loudness coming from the kitchen. There was a lot of shouting and children being extremely loud. The children were then in the main area of the restaurant running around yelling and screaming. It was so loud it was difficult to hear my friend speaking to me. After about 15 minutes of this we decide we would order our foodto go because we couldn’t stand the noise. Despite all of this I will say that the food was excellent and I will definitely be getting food to take out again. The spice level I requested was medium and it was perfect. The korma sauce was creamy and the garlic naan bread was delicious.

Masala House has always been a go to favorite when my wife and I are in the area. We always get the Korma and Special House Naan. This past visit we were fortunate enough to meet the owner Kumar. He had time to spend with us and tell us how he learned to cook and takes so much pride in putting his own twist over timeless recipes. He even gave us tips on cooking our own Indian dishes. Great people, great food, couldn't recommend Masala House enough.

This restaurant is genuinely one of favorite lunch spots. Their Lunch Thali is absolutely incredible - there is always something new for us to try, and every time, the taste is absolutely amazing. And the service is excellent. It's so clear that they care about their customers, and they're so kind. I couldn't recommend them more!

Delicious, and authentic food. Service though can often be slow though. I went there once with a party of 6 and all the meals came out at different times. It feels like they are struggling to get enough business to hire more kitchen staff. So please go visit them!Edit 8 months later:Unfortunately their service has not improved and has gotten worse. Numerous times now they've taken long long times to get food out. This time I ordered well in advance to give 45 minutes to prepare the meal and I was still given my food 15 minutes late.What is worse is when you are lied to by the management. I came in 5 minutes early for the pick up, and they told me 10 minutes. When it didn't come in 10 minutes they told me 2 minutes and was 5 minutes. When we got the order home it did not contain the one of the naans we ordered.

This is a nice and quiet family owned restaurant. The food was delicious and the experience was great. You can tell they take their time and put love in each dish.
