Maria Rodriguez a social worker offered to us from the school program A very caring and strong woman who was very in tune with my step daughter and was very impressive to her. I was and am very grateful for the progress she instilled in my step daughter. Maria did a great job evaluating her and graciously guiding her to a positive place in her mind, because me and my wife were getting very frustrated with her negative actions toward us. I am grateful that Somerville has a person like Maria who has the ability to bring out the best in children as she did with my stepdaughter.

Doctor Rodriguez was my clinical supervisor for my master’s degree program. I had a phenomenal intern experience because of Doctor Rodriguez. She was always responsive, kind, and a true mentor. I have learned so much through her interactions with clients, coworkers, and the community.
