The restaurant is wonderful! The ambiance, gorgeous tree in the entry way, drinks (coffee and cocktails) and pastries are my favorite. I am obsessed with the medialunas from Antonela and come often to buy some before they sell out! Carolina and everyone there is always wonderful and attentive. Great place to take in the views and enjoy a treat!

We have been in Costa Rica almost 2 weeks, traveling from San Jose to Monteverde to La Fortuna and now this was our 4th night in Tamarindo. Our meal tonight at La Oveja Surf House was by far THE BEST meal we have had in all of Costa Rica. I had the shrimp poke bowl and my hubby had the mexican burger. Both were beyond awesome and the owner Sarah was working right along side her staff. Sarah is warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Nice job Sarah. I will look forward to coming again.

We went there 2 times and the food was overhall good, great portion. The atmosphere was great, both nights had a singer or a music player. The only thing is one time we had a skinny girl as server and her service could be better, she looked not that happy to serve us and other tables also, didn't check on us if everything was okay. Prices was a bit higher than every other place we tried but still affordable.
