I have always wanted my kids to do martial arts since it benefits kids in many ways: physical fitness, social skills, self-control, etc. Very happy to have found Sensei Chad's Martial School last year. I love the challenges and discipline my son gets. Sensei Chad has been practicing martial arts for many years, received many awards. He's extremely knowledgeable and loves working with these kids. My son is slowly building up his confidence and I love seeing the progress he's making. Definitely recommend SLK to anyone that's thinking about trying Martial Arts!

My (now) 8 year old daughter started karate here last summer and immediately fell in love with it. She’s since been promoted to a purple belt, currently, and participates in the Black Belt Training Program and Weapons Training and can’t get enough of it. Sensei Chad is personable and teaches with a firm but kind hand, consistently instilling confidence and structure with his students. The flexible schedule is also helpful for our busy lives. 10/10 would recommend Southlake Karate to anyone.

Sensie Chad of the South Lake Karate Academy is one of the most professional person I've meet in Florida. He conducts his classes in good mood and high spirits and of course always knows what he's doing considering that there's a diverse group of people as to age, maturity, skills etc in a single session. My 2 kids who are both introvert , literally shy mingling with new crowd were very impressed of his approach and method. They haven't finished their trial class yet they were already enrolled for the regular classes. One thing that I like about Sensie is his good communication as he replies and answers queries with ease and clarity.

The team are just amazing. My son started at 8, we took a break and now back, he is 10 and karate is the one thing he looks forward to every Tuesday and Thursday. He is Autistic and the team is so great with him, and with me making me feel safe and not worry about him.

Clean, organized and welcoming environment. Sensei Chad offers a good mix in the classes enforcing discipline, focus and good form. Classes include mixed martial arts and self defense. Children are moved through at a good pace to ensure they have a good grasp on what they are learning. Children also have fun while learning great skills.

My 7 year old has been attending this karate academy for 6 months and goes Tuesdays and Thursdays and always has fun in class and he has learned a lot. His teacher is informative and patient with the kids. We’ve had a great experience so far with South Lake Karate Academy. Highly recommend!!!
