Mark and his colleague came to fit a new roller door to our house back in May, not only did they turn up on time, both chaps were super tidy, efficient and respectful of my garage. My garage is my little haven and they made sure not to make any mess and left it just as clean as when they arrived. They replaced a decrepit old canopy door with a new black roller. That’s made the front of our house look far better than before and as I use the garage to park my car, the roller makes it so much nicer to get out for a drive. The door itself is smooth and works well off the remotes and the main controller, it holds heat well and the garage is noticeably warmer than before. TL/DR: - these guys came in cheaper than the chain quotes I got, were polite, tidy and I love the new door

Mark from Avon Automated Garage Doors fitted my doors on Monday 29th June 2026. I originally contacted Mark in October 2025. Unfortunately I had to spend some time in hospital for treatment which put the plans on hold. I got back in touch with Mark on 29th May 2026 when I felt ready. There wasNo pressure during this time to pay any deposits or sign anything. I had this with two of the other so called leading companies Gorolla and Crocodile garage doors. Who continued to phone and email me during my illness.Gorolla were actually so pushy that they made me sign during a survey. Apparently it was the only way to proceed to get a quote. I immediately cancelled that day once they had emailed me the quote which was significantly more expensive.I then received a number of txts from Gorolla suggesting my doors would be fitted in 10 days and payment would be taken on the day. I hadn’t even picked a colour. Thankfully I had email confirmation of me cancelling that was supposedly signed for. Obviously you have a cooling off period anyway. If you want a fair honest quote with no sales tactics or jargon I would save yourself the time it takes to get multiple quotes and use Mark.I asked Mark many question via email regarding door type, colour, motor type, seal, safety edge system, warranty. All questions were answered swiftly and samples of colours and slat thickness sent to me promptly.The quote was so reasonable I could afford the 77mm slats for extra strength and also paid for the safety edge system which I would highly recommend.All in all I would guess Mark was about £500 cheaper than Gorolla. With Gorolla I was only getting the 55mm slats for the same price that mark could install the 77mm slats.Mark and his colleague were very informative, hard working, tidy and polite thought the whole process.
