I visited Johnny Nevada’s Tamales specifically because of the sign advertising tamales, only to find out the kitchen was closed and no food was available. This is misleading and frustrating. If you’re not serving food, don’t advertise it. It felt like a bait-and-switch, and I left disappointed. Please fix your signage or make sure you can deliver what’s promised. Less

Incredible spot. My husband and I tried the carnitas, pork tamales and the spicy boiled peanuts. The flavor was very impactful and super unique to the St Pete area. I only got a picture of the boiled peanuts 🫣 and we devoured the rest. Incredibly fresh ingredients and filling. Highly recommend stopping by! Less
