We enjoyed our visit to Kape Tayo for fun drinks. My daughter got a boba tea and I had a pina colada inspired drink. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and informative. There were drink options here that I haven't seen anywhere else in Huntsville. It is located in university pickers in the middle of the 2nd floor. They have a little sit down area on the side with drinks in a cooler and a jukebox.

Kape Tayo was one of only two Huntsville stops that Bethany specifically wanted to visit, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.This Filipino-inspired coffee shop offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and drinks that stand apart from the typical chain coffee experience.Our family sampled three beverages: the Salted Caramel Kape, a Kape Kape with added caramel, and an Ube Kape. Every drink was smooth, flavorful, and expertly prepared.For food, my wife and I ordered the pork siopao while Bethany chose the chicken siopao. Both arrived piping hot, with soft, pillowy buns and savory fillings that paired perfectly with the coffee.The service was friendly, the ambiance inviting, and every item we ordered exceeded expectations. It’s refreshing to find a local café that executes both beverages and light bites so well.Best of all, this was one of the places Bethany most wanted to experience during our trip to Huntsville, and it did not disappoint. Kape Tayo delivered memorable coffee, delicious siopao, and an experience that left all three of us wanting to come back.If you’re in Huntsville and appreciate unique coffee shops, this one deserves a spot on your itinerary.

Cannot say enough good things about this amazing little gem upstairs in the University Pickers Building!!!!😯😯😯 One of the most unique and charming little spots I've found in quite a while. Everything I had...the coffee(Completely Vietnamese and/or Filipino) was delicious and high quality. Fresh ground in house too. And I haven't had Siopao(Filipino steamed Buns-pork and chicken were available today) and Halo Halo(Filipino shaved iced dessert with ALL THE THINGS) this authentic since the last time I was in the Philippines!!!😁😁😁Definitely a must stop coffee shop. Couple this with the ability to shop for one of a kind gifts and antiques in the same building, there is no reason not to stop.

im Filipina and from Hawaii, im here to visit in laws and was so shocked to see a cafe named in tagalog! Ofc as a proud Filipina I had to check it out. The owners are as sweet as the drink I had! He told us that the beans they use are straight from Philippines and I can taste how authentic they are! The ube dube drink i had was soo delicious will come back to get the halo halo!

I was in the area and looked for a coffee/cold drink place and I’m so glad I stumbled across Kape Tayo. I ordered a mango banjo and it was delicious. The owner/staff was super nice and he explained its a Filipino coffee place. I don’t drink coffee but I’d definitely take my husband (who loves coffee) here when we are around the place. There were so many new flavors and would definitely try again.

Kape Tayo is a really cool coffee shop located in the upstairs of Pickers University of the 2nd floor. The coffee and service were exceptional, and the design brings you back to the 70s/80s and even has a vintage jukebox. 10/10 and highly recommend!!

First time coming through and it was fantastic. I got the Vietnamese Kape and my wife got a vanilla latte. Both were amazing, perfect sweetness, no bitter taste and the service was incredible. We will be back!
