After our daughter was born, our Dachshund started showing some aggression on leash—toward other dogs and even some kids—which was really scary for us. I cannot recommend Pat's Pack Dog Training enough. I brought my rescue dog Frank to Pat, and honestly the transformation has been incredible. Frank came to me with a ton of energy and the kind of unpredictability you'd expect from a rescue. A sweet dog, but a lot to handle. Pat completely changed that.Through the boarding process and the follow-up appointments, Frank became a completely different dog, in the best possible way. Before taking my dog (6 yr old rescue Malinois) to Pat’s he was incredibly reactive and slightly aggressive to people/dogs. Pat helped to give me some great tools and put a lot of my anxieties at ease with his training. After training, his behavior on walks and with people is a night and day difference. He has become such a great listener and still has his fun/silly personality! Pat is absolutely amazing. Our 1-year-old German Shepherd, Roki, had a very strong protective personality and had become extremely difficult to handle. 5 stars doesn’t suffice for my experience with Pat and the behavioral transformation of my dogs. When I first got a Belgian Malinois I really didn’t realize what I was in for and ended up constantly frustrated at the pup for tearing things up, pulling me on the leash and barking aggressively at anyone within a 10ft radius. 6 months of struggles later I reached out to Pat and he boarded my dog for two weeks. I was nervous at first, but his daily check ins put me at ease and I could tell progress was happening. What I didn’t expect was a practically brand new dog when I came to pick him up! Pat showed me how to properly communicate with my dog and reinforce the behavioral patterns they had created so that I could continue training him myself. The change was so drastic that I ended up getting a female Belgian and sent it straight to Pat and now have to of the best trained dogs in the neighborhood. People constantly approach me asking if I’m a dog trainer and how happy they’d be if their dogs behaved like both of mine. Proud lifelong member of PATS PACK!

Pat is a DOG WHISPERER!!! I have an adorable (but very rambunctious/spunky) mixed breed puppy and adopted her by myself. She wasn't fully potty trained, she chewed everything, and I couldn't even leave her in the crate so that I could leave my house without her howling/barking nonstop (for hours...) One day I sat trying to work from home as she ran amuck in my house and wondered what I had gotten myself into, and a friend referred me to Pat. He was able to come to my house for an in person session two days later, and was able to immediately get her in the crate, quietly, while we chatted through everything else. From there on out, she was crate training no problem. I decided to send her to Pat's board & train for 2 weeks, and she is a brand new dog. She is so good on her leash, she is so much more obedient in the house, she is essentially fully crate trained, and I know all of the tools to maintain her training at home on my own. I am going to be sending her to his enrichment program while I am traveling next month, and I couldn't be more excited to see what else she learns! Would HIGHLY recommend to all fur parents!!! Pat rules! My dog Banjo was a feral creature of dubious origin that seemed to be programmed to do nothing but make my life frustrating. He would sprint after all other dogs and in general be a real horses behind when on a leash. PLUS he was destructive to almost anything in my house. I was to the point of re-homing him. Then like a light from the heavens, a friend recommended Pat's Pack to me. Pat took my dog and turned him into possibly the best most behaved dog of all time. I'm serious. I actually kind of feel bad that you all can't have my dog (and for the record you can't. He's mine. Get your own dog). Banjo listens well and is just a delight to have in the house now on top of being the envy of all my other dog owning friends. PLUS, when I see unruly dogs in the park, I get to be the judgey one now! They don't have to know that my dog was an ogre I couldn't control just 3 weeks ago, they just need to get their own dog set right gosh darn it.If you have a dog that stinks and/or blows, I'd highly recommend reaching out to Pat. He'll set your dog straight in a loving way and also give you the tools of success to KEEP your dog on the path of the good boy/girl. If this could be a six star review it would!We originally came to Pat with our six month old French bulldog Harry for pulling on the leash and being overly excited towards other dogs on walks. He was and is still a puppy, but we wanted to start working on these behaviors early before they escalated. We did one on one training over six sessions and I feel like we have a completely different dog than when we started in the best way possible.Not only does Pat help train your dog but he gives you all of the tools to be able to do it yourself. He was so responsive to my many questions over text throughout the weeks.I was hoping to come out of the six sessions with a dog that heels and listens on the leash and I got so much more. Harry is able to be off leash when appropriate, we’ve refined his obedience and even worked on some fun stuff. Not only is Harry’s progress a testament to how knowledgeable and skilled Pat is, but I had so much fun doing it. I feel like my bond with my dog is even stronger than before, and I can’t wait to keep working and see Harry’s progress as he grows into an adult dog! I’ve had small dogs my whole life. When we adopted a delightful dog- who is 43% Belgian Malinnois- I knew I needed help. Pat is awesome! My wife and I needed some help with our two year old rescue as we were a bit overwhelmed with training and boundary setting with our new pup, Bodhi! Pat not only was excellent at communicating with Bodhi but also with us and helping us develop the skills to get him better on the leash, more engaged with us, and get him tuned up on basic obedience! We knew we needed to get him socialized as soon as possible and Pat helped facilitate Bodhi make lots of dog friends during our 2-week board and train with him!
