This loan company has redline my husband and I, We both has credit scores in the high 700s, Over $400.000 in retirement, while our only problem is being black. This is our 4TH homes together and we have never received a 7.99 percent interest rate when the national average is 8.00 percent. I made reference to this . IN spite of my husband having a high paying job for 34 years and I'm making close to $100.000 per year and $128.000 in retirement. They used our race to qualified us, not to mention the private mortgage insurance (PMI) this is sending my mortgage through the roof. This is for high risk borrowers. So all of our money, almost perfect credit scores, no late payments did not qualify us for anything better. Just imagine not having any of the above financially, we would have never been eligible for nothing. Every one including UNITED WHOLESALE MORTGAGE that they sold our loan to, made several comments (Your mortgage rate is very high). I will never refer or use this company again, OH KAREN, her real name, told I better make sure I keep a full time job. I’m sure this is not the advice given to certain people. Why did I use this company? Sadly I was referred, and felt like I should use this company. I told them that this is our primary home, but I was told I have to sell the house I’m living in first, (be homeless) So they decided for us. I waited a year for 3 of my friends to get preapproved from this company (Indians and white) and their interest rate was almost 1/3 of mine, with fair credit scores and only their jobs.
