I called a few places before calling here because my dryer had stopped heating. One place quoted $99 for just the service call, another came in at a whopping $129!But I called 858 and they were only $39!At that price, one might think that their service might be questionable considering what others are charging, but they sent a technician named "Gore" that came out the next day. He messaged when he was about 25 mins out. He arrived promptly and ran a diagnostic on my dryer. I guess I had gremlins because he said everything checked out. But the most amazing part was when he told me that because of this there was going to be no charge. I offered to give him something for his time, and he said to run the dryer and make sure it's working ok, and if there are any issues, then call him back and he'd be in the area tomorrow, and I could pay then.I was shocked, what business does that these days?I have since run the dryer a few times and it's just fine again, I still don't know why it stopped working, but oh well, I'll take it.Needless to say I will be calling back tomorrow and still paying the service fee, and I will recommend 858 and Gore to anyone in need of repair, and of course use them for all future needs of mine!

Had a persistent gas smell coming from my gas range. Called Sdge and they sent a tech out and he said it was coming from the valve and tightened everything up. Seemed to be the ticket until the next day when my wife smelled gas again...Called 858Appliance and he said he wouldn't have a tech available for a couple of days but was very helpful in telling me what to do to take care of it myself and save some money.I appreciate a company like this that isn't just looking to make a quick buck, but will tell you when and how you can take care of it yourself if you are comfortable doing so.I highly recommend calling them if you have an issue!

They were very helpful. I was having problems with my oven and the technician helped me fix my problem. When talking through it on the phone did not work he facetimed me so he could see the problem and better diagnose it. In the end theproblem was fixed😁
