I threw an 80th birthday party for my mother who has Alzheimer's Disease. I wanted to make the event special as it may be the last milestone birthday we can celebrate with her before she goes deeper into cognitive decline. I hired Cheryl to take the photos and in addition to being reasonably priced and taking high quality photos she was absolutely lovely to engage with both before and during the event. She had an uncanny ability to put my mom at ease and to make the shyest children at the event come out of their shell and literally start posing for her and hamming it up. When I received the photos they brought tears to my eyes because they captured my family together in a really beautiful way. My guests all commented on how Cheryl seemed more like one of us than an arms length vendor. Cheryl brings the right balance of being highly professional as a clear communicator who makes the effort to understand what you want and being highly personable, making your guests feel relaxed. I highly recommend her for any of your photography needs.

Our daughter had school pics taken recently and they were so gash, we were disappointed at the complete lack of quality and care of those who provided the service for her school. This is a new school for us. We have never experienced this before so we decided to look for a local photographer. Thankfully, we contacted Cheryl!! For less than an extra $20 over what we would have paid to purchase the "school" (one) photo, Cheryl provided our daughter with a personalized photo session. We were provided many school photo themed backdrops to choose from. Cheryl made it so comfortable, relaxing and fun for our daughter to truly enjoy being photographed. It was fun for all of us! After a few days, we received about a dozen proofs to choose four of our favorites from. Not one... Four! And they're all beautiful!! From now on, when school photo time comes, we're going to Cheryl. We have booked and look forward to our family Christmas photo shoot with Cheryl later this month. Capturing important memories in photos isn't simple.
