I've hired Jeremy 3-times now. Last week's visit will be the last. Service business need to learn the power of social media. Inflation yes, price gouging no! You decide what an hour is worth.Until last week, his work, skill and value have been very good and within reason. Last year he washed our home (2,300 sq.ft.,) driveway, brick mailbox and +/- 250' feet of wood picket fence on both sides to prepare for staining. He spent nearly 4.5-hours and charged us $500. He did a fine job and charged what I thought was a fair price. This week Jeremy arrived and quoted a price to wash the house and blow out the gutters of $500. To treat my roof (another requested quote) with chlorine and water would have been hundreds more. No driveway or fence for the $500.My primary concern was to clear the gutters of leaves so I agreed to $200 for the gutters alone. 38-minutes later he was ready to leave. I do readily admit that I did agree to the price but perhaps I thought that rolling up my hoses that were used and maybe rinsing the windows that dried with debris should have been included. Please note that Jeremy was nearly 2-hours late for the confirmed appointment. I'm retired so it makes little difference but to others it may be an issue. He did text to let me know that he was running late.Pressure washing is not "brain surgery." Pressure washing is a service skill. It requires an investment in equipment though it's not significant. The investment might be compared to a lawn service who purchases Scag and Stihl equipment and yes everyone needs a pickup to pull the trailer. Is a one man pressure washer's skill and equipment worth $126.66 an hour? I don't think so. I absolutely expressed my concerns for the price/value received to Jeremy after he was packed and ready to go in 38-minutes.The guys that mow our lawn certainly don't charge that kind of money. You decide. I felt bad enough at the experience to speak up here. I do readily admit that these are my opinions only and might not represent the feelings of others. You might look at the other Google reviews on pressure washing companies. "Many" if not most have higher ratings (5.0) and get yourself at least a couple of quotes before spending your dollars. You might find hard working young men or women who have prices that are more in line with reality.I believe Jeremy thinks that old folks with a nice home can PAY. He's wrong.Good luck Jeremy.
