One of the worst places to host an event. Run! Where do I start...how about the establishment itself? You can't bring in your own flowers, you have to use theirs that come in a "package". The flowers are dated, broken, and tacky. They look like they were at an old cemetery before they used them there. The grounds are poorly kept: weeds and junk are unsightly. Oh by the way, the packages are coordinated with the people they work with (for obvious reasons) so good luck trying to get specific with things you truly want as it's not allowed if it's not part of their package. Case and point: the quince we attended, the cake had to be purchased from a lady who worked with the establishment. She claimed she could do a cake, that SHE provided in her binder of cakes you could purchase and then 4 days before the party, she stated that she does not bake that type of cake and that she didn't know why the establishment kept offering it as an option. Let that settle in for a minute... Also, they threw a couple out for bringing in water, albeit, there are no signs stating that it was prohibited. Their justification: they sell water at their bar. Let's highlight a fallacy with that justification: they offer alcohol there but they were allowing people to walk in with bottles of liquor. The dj, also part of their package, played the most boring music and the banda wasn't any better. You could see it in people's faces, they were bored out of their minds. People still tried to do the best they could, given the circumstances, to have a good time. Back to the establishment and decorations. The chandeliers were plastic and dirty. The pool was dirty. Half the lights they used didn't work properly. This is like a bait and switch establishment. They post "beautiful" pictures but it is not at all what you're getting. All in all, do your due diligence and find yourself a place that's well maintained and that offers more than just packages aimed at squeezing every penny out of its customers.
