My husband and I love this place. I’m from the south so Southern/Soul cuisine is my comfort food. We’ve gone a handful of times, but today the service was exceptional. Ms. V made sure we couldn’t ask for anything. She sold the food with her description of the menu items. She had an Iced Tea ready for my husband before he could finish the one he was drinking. She was very personable and super friendly. The food never disappoints. LARGE smothered pork chop with Mac & Cheese and perfectly cooked Brussels Sprouts. Yum!!! First of all, the fried chicken is delicious. In the American South, Fried Chicken is King, so welcome to the Castle. I absolutely loved the ribs. The ribs were filled with subtle smokiness, not overwhelming, but tender, fall off the bone delicious. Good job. The potato salad became a quick favorite, I love the fried green tomatoes, collards, and green beans. Peach cobbler was very good. Corn muffins are delicious, I could eat the whole basket, thank you very much.I would really love to see y'all making a chunky mashed potatoe, but that's a me thing.
