It’s never too late to follow a dream! ❤️Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved dancing, but life always seemed to get in the way. After years of waiting for friends or partners to join me, I finally decided, at 49, it was time to choose ME!I started taking dance classes, but I wanted more than just learning steps. I wanted to truly feel the music and make dancing part of who I am.Someone recommended a place on Elgin Street in Ottawa. Being naturally introverted, French-speaking, and stepping into the unknown alone was a big challenge! When I arrived and saw all the bars, I almost turned around! 😂 Little did I know, the dancing was actually inside a church!And what a beautiful surprise awaited me!From the moment I met Jose and his team, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely happy. I left feeling like I was floating!Jose is an exceptional instructor and a truly wonderful human being. Patient, passionate, kind, and always smiling, he takes the time to dance individually with his students so we can actually experience what a great leader feels like. With his incredible experience, he teaches us something beyond steps: how to truly feel the dance and connect with our partner. That is priceless!His entire team shares that same warmth and positive energy. Even after an exhausting day, I can’t wait to get to class because I know I’ll leave feeling amazing.At 49, I didn’t just start dancing. I finally started living a dream I’ve carried in my heart my entire life.Thank you, Jose and your wonderful team! Great salsa and bachata classes! The instructors are professional, passionate, and make the lessons fun and easy to follow. It’s also a great place to meet friendly and fun people. The atmosphere is welcoming, positive, and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

I have really enjoyed the Bachata Level 2 and Salsa Level 1 classes. Jose is patient, encouraging, and takes the time to explain each step clearly. They demonstrate the movements several times, which makes it much easier to understand the technique, timing, and partner work.The classes are well structured and welcoming for different learning speeds. I especially appreciate that Jose makes sure everyone has a chance to practise before moving on to the next combination. I would highly recommend these classes to anyone who wants to learn salsa or bachata in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
