I paid about $2,000 upfront for 10 sessions of shockwave therapy on my SI joint after being told it should likely resolve the issue. Unfortunately, after completing all of the treatments, I experienced little to no improvement.What was most disappointing was that when I brought this up, there was no offer to adjust the treatment plan, and provide additional sessions for no cost , or discuss any form of refund. I understand that no treatment can guarantee results, but when patients are encouraged to prepay based on expected outcomes, there should be some willingness to work with them if it doesn’t help.

I had a torn rotator cuff. After the injury I had spent several months letting it rest and rehabbing at home, but injured it again. This left me in so much pain I was certain I would require surgery. The Softwave therapy was a life saver. I was very skeptical at first but started noticing a difference after a few sessions. My shoulder is almost completely healed and I won’t need surgery.

The doctor provided a very thorough explaination of softwave therapy. She reviewed all my medical documentation and pointed me to a different doctor for a secondary issue I had for 2 years. I may have been going to the wrong specialists for my secondary issue.

After getting great relief and healing from Dr Kim’s Softwave treatments for an ongoing shoulder injury…I am now getting Softwave treatments on the bottom of my feet for planter fasciitis. I have been dealing with frozen shoulder for over 8 months and decided to give Soft Wave a try. It troubles me to leave a negative review for Dr. Kim and her staff as they are the most pleasant and delightful team!Unfortunately, after receiving adjustments from Dr. Kim I have damage to both my left and right rotator cuffs. What frustrates me most is that I went for lower back pain and left with tremendous constant pain in my shoulders and biceps. I have now seen an orthopedic surgeon who is advising me that it is possible that i will need surgery on both shoulders! (6-9 month recovery for each shoulder.After 2 months of treatments I stopped going but finally decided to go back and see Dr. Kim and express my displeasure and she was very sorry that I was experiencing this pain. After 3 weeks of sound wave treatments the level of pain improved briefly but it came right back.Again, I came in for my lower back and now I have chronic pain in both shoulders that ranges from a 3-4 to a 9-10 depending on how I move or extend my arms.I consider my decision to get adjusted for the first time ever was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. I would not wish this pain on anyone!

I have been to several other chiropractors in the past, but this was a different experience from the first time I walked in. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Raby and her staff. Thanks to her I am running and training again (multiple herniated discs). She is a God-send.
