Decided to bite the bullet and prove to myself that I am that Diva I think I am, and my goodness did Yorkshire Boudoir and Mark Swinford Photography deliver, in spades!Greeted by the lovely Charlotte who was doing my hair and makeup - she put me at ease and we had a fab chat whilst bring transformed. I had won the boudoir photo shoot and although a little nervous about going was completely made to feel at ease by both Charlotte (photographer) and Steph (makeup and hair). I had zero clue as to how I wanted my hair and makeup so completely left it up to Steph to do what she felt would suit me and I absolutely loved it. Wonderful experience. I went to my shoot with 2 very different looks and they were able to both do my makeup to match with both but also the photos matched the looks as well. They made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and by the end you forget what your wearing as you just pose and do what the photographer says. Less

I cannot recommend this experience enough! I had a boudoir shoot at the end of last year and the entire team were absolutely incredible. The took such good care of me throughout the whole process, not just within the shoot itself. They were so sweet when they called to book in my shoot, they checked in with me along the way to make sure I felt comfortable. It's worth mentioning that I am a very nervous and anxious person and was absolutely terrified to do something so out of my comfort zone, but with the communication before the shoot and upon arrival I felt so much better. Steph who did my make up was a pleasure to chat to and introduced me to my photographer Charlotte and her assistant Saskia. Both ladies were absolutely hilarious and put me at ease so quickly I was laughing and joking with them wintin minutes. It was such a brilliant experience and I had a blast! Stunning, every one should visit. I had a boudoir session. A present for my husband’s birthday. The experience is fantastic from being greeted at the door which is locked for security and privacy for the clients to an hour of being made to look ten years younger in hair and makeup. Then though to a private studio with the most amazing photographer who just made me completely comfortable, chatting, laughing and joking. The session was also an hour but over ran which just was not a problem. I returned a week or so later to be shown my pictures….. well they were more than I could have ever hoped for … I think they made me look like a Bond Girl I was just missing 007 by my side 😂 I could not recommend highly enough give it a go they are an amazing team from start to finish. I entered a Facebook competition to win a boudoir photo shoot... After leaving a domestically violent reletionship and being mentally and emotionally drained and with zero confidence, And also since leaving have had alot of health issues resulting in needing medication that has along with comfort eating made me put on over 3stone, I wasn't sure this would be great idea as I felt disgusted with the way I look and hate looking in mirror. But wow!! What an amazing team of ladies that are the kindest and most professional people. They made every single minute amazing and made me feel good about myself. In this life we often put ourselves and others down to quickly and this experience makes you realise you are worthy and you are beautiful whatever size you are or numbers on the scales say. Amazing photo experience from start to finish. We were welcomed into the studio and offered beverages whilst we waited. Once our shoot started we were offered an array of props including use of our own and were delighted at how engaged and professional our photographer was. After our shoot we were invited to our preview of the pics-this again was smooth and clear from start to finish. The 'traffic light' system made it easy to rule out which pictures we wanted. We knew beforehand which package we wanted and did not feel pressured into something other. Seeing the pictures on a large screen made it easier to see the final results. I’m a curvier lady and wasn’t in love with my body. That has fully changed now though! Seeing the photos in front of me I didn’t recognise the woman in the photos. From start to finish our whole experience was professional and personal to us. From booking our photo shoot to going to the shoot with Charlotte at The Camera she made us feel relaxed and comfortable. The whole shoot revolved around our 15 day old Daughter and Charlotte was brilliant. All the poses were natural (not like you get some places where they are really posey). Then we came back today to view the images and they were brilliant. Jo the lady that showed us the images was amazing and not pushy at all. She really listened to what we wanted and never once tried to sell us something we didn’t want. An absolute wonderful experience from start to finish! We had originally booked for the bump to baby photoshoot, however due to our little one making an early appearance we were unable to make a bump photoshoot. The team at Mark Swinford were extremely understanding and switched it around for us so we can have a newborn shoot and a shoot when she’s a little older. We had our photoshoot with Charlotte - who was absolutely incredible! She took her time, made us feel comfortable and went with the flow of our little girl rather than worrying about capturing the ‘perfect shot’. She was extremely friendly and truly wonderful at what she does. We then visited for the viewing with Jo - again what a wonderful experience we had. We looked through photos, choosing our favourites, with Jo pointing out those which are similar or zoom ins of originals so we really got our value for money. We took advantage of a wonderful offer they had available, which was really good value for money. Something that was most important to us with the whole experience, was that there was no pressure from anybody. There was no pressure to make our baby uncomfortable to get the desired image, and there was no pressure and pushiness around purchasing anything. Had an amazing photoshoot done here. Drinks offered on arrival which was a lovely, the makeup artist really helped me with my nerves before going into the he shoot but everything was amazing! I was made to feel special from the start of the experience to finish! I was treated so kindly by the wonderful team from my hair and make-up, my photoshoot and my viewing session two weeks later and the check-in phonecalls. All the team are professional but most importantly warm and kind and put me at ease. Over many years my confidence in my self image has really diminished. I won a boudoir shoot. As a curvier lady, I thought this might be out of my comfort zone. However, from the moment the ladies rang me & discussed everything it made me feel at ease. What an amazing day I had, the staff are fabulous and make you feel so comfortable. From a warm welcome, with prosecco! If required. To make up and hair that makes you feel gorgeous. I'm a outwardly confident person, but when it comes to body confidence it was pretty low. After having my shoot then going back to see the images...
