Alex is absolutely phenomenal. From our initial meetings to the day itself he made us feel so comfortable, which was so important because my husband and I don't do photos well. On our wedding day he was so calm and collected and worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure everything was on time and smooth. The photos themselves, i have no words, i am speechless. He first showed us about 20 photos halfway though the evening which he sent to us and they were beyond beautiful. I was amazed at how fast we received them ! We got married in The Manor in September, and Alex was our photographer. When we were picking a photographer, it was something we didn't want to 'cheap out' on because it is the one thing you get to keep at the end of the day. However, wedding photographers can be expensive!! Alex was one of the more price-competitive photographers we looked at when we were searching, which can be nerve-wracking, but we were filled with so much confidence about the service he was going to provide, there were no doubts. The other concern we had was, not being from the area makes it even harder to communicate easily with and make decisions about vendors and suppliers. But after chatting to him in the year/months leading up to the wedding, over zoom and in person, we realised that not only did he take the time to get to know us as a couple and as individuals, but he also got a well-rounded idea of the photos we wanted to achieve and went to every effort to make sure our vision was captured. And he did an incredible job. It was more than just standard snaps, we had some unusual requests and he made all of it work with ease. It helped that he had been to our venue lots of times before and knew exactly where the hot spots were for good snaps. We saw him running around all day making sure he got the perfect snaps, and he had a team of 2 others (including a videographer) helping him. The team worked so well together, it was like they could read each others minds. They were also very independent which is important at a time when you've got a million other things in your brain. They came in and said hi, but then took it upon themselves to start photographing the details; flowers, rings, shoes etc. So we didn't even have to think about it. It was already done!! I wouldn't know what feedback to give, because from our perspective, everything was just smooth and simple. The overall experience was a win-win for us - outstanding service at a very competitive price! It is safe to say that if you choose Alex to be your photographer, that is one less thing you'll need to stress about during your wedding planning, because he is all over it!
