I am OBSESSED with this salon. It has everything to keep the kids entertained from videos games to little cars for them to sit in. Most of all my time spent with Shannon was incredible. She truly stands out as a stylist with great customer service and patience with the kiddos. (I might even stop in for my hair cut next!)

Took my 3 kids in the get a cut by Shannon. She was so patient and kind with my 2 year old daughter. She didn’t want to sit for her and kept telling her no every time she tried to comb her hair. Shannon suggested taking my boys first so she could see them get their hair cut. It worked perfectly because she couldn’t wait for her turn after! My son’s hair looks great she did an awesome fade for them both and they can’t wait to come back to Shannon again and play video games. She painted my daughter’s nails after and even added these cute little clips to her hair. We had such a wonderful experience and I can actually relax taking my kids to get a haircut now. This was a great experience for my 3 yr old. They let the child choose their chair, they provide a tv to add some distraction if needed. Very nice and friendly staff.

Awesome first haircut for our daughter and amazing experience. Jessica was magnificent and my daughter is so happy with her haircut. If you have a little one, this is the place to go for haircuts and pampering!

Shannon was amazing! She did such a great job with my son’s haircut and was so patient and sweet the whole time. The cut came out great and the whole experience was awesome as they had car seats for the kids to sit in as well as TVs that we could watch Disney+ on. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great experience at Sharkey’s Sarasota! This was my son’s first haircut at 3 years old and I didn’t know how he would do. Shannon was so nice and got us set up in the Spidey car at his request. With Blippi on the TV, my son sat happily for 30 minutes while Shannon gave him a major transformation. He was happy as a clam and never fussed - scissors, clippers, you name it. And this boy had a LOT of hair to cut! Shanon worked efficiently and gave my gorgeous boy the sweetest cut. It was really hard for me to cut off his long, beautiful hair, but this experience made it so much easier. She made us an adorable “First Haircut” certificate complete with a hair clipping and before/after pictures, which I will treasure forever. Fantastic all around. Thank you!!

Kid friendly and nice staff. I watched the child who was getting cut by the same stylist before us and he sat still and his hair looked good. So this is not the hair stylists fault but my son’s hair looks very bad. I felt like the person cutting his hair was annoyed by the end and she rushed it. She was trying to buzz and cut really fast instead of just giving a second to regroup and get a clean cut. The cut is really uneven and a few spots he was knicked and has a small bare spot. I tipped very well as she tried her best I guess. and I’m leaving a 5 star review as this place is amazing for kids cuts. I will bring him back to try again and hopefully he can walk out with a better result.
