I wanted to like it here but unfortunately I didn't. I've trained at several other gyms and this one wasn't for me. Eric is rude as hell, and the classes were too large to learn adequate technique. Coach Bert is awesome.

My daughter has been training Jujitsu & MMA here for 3 years now. We absolutely love it. I’ve also taken up some MMA Classes and it’s fantastic. 100% would recommend.

I’ve visited the Burleson location a couple of times for open mat, and every time I’ve been welcomed with nothing but kindness and good energy. The people here are respectful, friendly, and genuinely fun to roll with. Kari teaches here as well, and she brings so much skill and clarity to her instruction. Even as a visitor, I’ve felt included and supported. Great people and a great atmosphere.

I have been training with Genesis Jiu-Jitsu in Burleson since May 2025. The ladies class is wonderful and always worth the drive from Arlington. Lots of personal attention and I always feel safe and comfortable. Coaching is top notch. I train with women of varying ages, though being age 62, I'm definitely older than they are, though my age doesn't seem to matter. I have several physical challenges but my training accommodates my needs and helps me stay well and active.

Genesis Jiu Jitsu has been such a welcoming and uplifting place to train. The instructors create a supportive environment where everyone ~ no matter your skill level ~ feels included and encouraged. I've grown so much here, both in confidence and in technique. I'm grateful for this gym and the people in it.
