I originally recommended Remodel Group to my friend after seeing what appeared to be many positive online reviews. We even interviewed the company together and, at the time, felt confident based on what we were shown.Unfortunately, as the project went on, it became clear that the work being completed did not match the quality or professionalism we expected. Large portions of the renovation were left unfinished or were completed below normal construction standards, and the communication from the company became inconsistent and, at times, non-existent. Watching my friend deal with the consequences of this has been extremely disappointing.What concerns me most is that the experience we witnessed didn’t resemble what the online reviews led us to believe. Based on what we saw firsthand throughout the project, the workmanship and follow-through were nowhere near what had been described by previous reviewers.I’m leaving this review to share my perspective as someone who recommended this company in good faith. I contributed financially to my son’s home renovation, which was handled by Remodel Group, and I feel it’s important to share my experience for others considering a major project.Throughout this process, I observed that significant portions of the work we paid for were not completed to normal construction standards, and many areas now require full replacement or repair by other professionals. Interior painting, flooring, the kitchen renovation, the second-story addition, deck construction, and roof flashing were either left unfinished or were completed in a way that we have been told does not meet industry-standard workmanship. As of late October, no one from the company has been on the property, and the project remains incomplete.Communication was also inconsistent. Messages requesting updates, timelines, and clarification often went unanswered, and promised completion dates passed without explanation.I’m sharing this review based on my firsthand involvement as a financial contributor and as someone who witnessed the condition of the home and the communication issues throughout the project. My goal is simply to provide accurate information so others can make an informed decision. I hope the company improves its workmanship and customer communication for future clients.
