We had a great experience working with Lawrence and his team from Kelar Homes when we renovated our condo in Yaletown. We completely overhauled our bathroom, replacing all the tiling on the walls and floors, replacing the toilet, and putting in a custom made vanity. In the kitchen, we installed a new backsplash and replaced all of our cabinets with custom cabinets made by Kelar Homes. We also painted the entire condo, replaced old-fashioned moulding with an updated look, and added new electrical for lighting. Lawrence is a pleasure to work with: he brings high attention to detail, communicates updates frequently, and worked hard to deliver our project within a tight deadline. Had a wonderful experience with Lawrence and Keith from Kelar Homes back in June 2023. I had a 200sq foot patio deck installed. From start to finish everything was great! I really appreciated the email responsiveness, the quick and fair quote process, the fast turnaround on work and, of course, the deck itself. Lawrence is amazing, friendly and caring. He truly appreciated the business. Lawrence worked with me and brought my ideas to life and made great suggestions along the way. The best being a trap door that accesses our basement window. I suggested a grate cover for the window that provides the necessary fire safety escape access we needed but his suggestion was to make it using the deck itself. Make it flush and basically invisible from above. We can easily escape, in an emergency, but nobody can really see any access from outside. I never thought of that. Truly cool! Lawrence said he would follow up in several months to ensure the work was to my satisfaction and to see if any adjustments were needed. Well, I just received the follow up, and the deck still looks brand new and no adjustments are needed. I am truly thankful that I can enjoy my backyard now. I am proud of my deck and highly recommend Kelar Homes. Less
