As a young 73 my shoulders started giving me enough pain many years ago that making my Orthopedic practice my personal friends . I mean that I think that I've sent the whole office on a nice cruise . I was informed that I'd more than likely be a candidate for my left shoulder or both shoulder replacements . Why not , because they'd go great with my replaced knees & left hip .I was referred to CTG by a friend at our local fitness center . He swore by this practice because they took great care of him and he ended up not needing surgery . So after 3 long months of kicking the appointment can down the road , I finally decided to become a patient here .I can honestly say that making that appointment was a great move on my part . I've been dealing with Dr Grant & have nothing but respect for not only him , but everyone CTG that I've had the pleasure to deal with . He has been putting me through the paces of building up the muscles around the joint using both free weights & stationary machines . My orthopedist had me 100% using machines which while not being detrimental , were limiting my range of motion & joint strength . On the other hand Dr Grant took the opposite approach . My workouts at our fitness center have vastly improved especially considering that I started January 15th with CTG & have 2 appointments per week (weather & traffic permitting) .I'm not ruling out a joint replacement or more in the future , but it nice to know that that can got kicked a lot further down the road .I highly recommend this PT practice especially my newest best bro Dr Grant over other practices that cater more to the older more fragile crowd . After my last scheduled visit here , may their ears stop bleeding . LMBO .Part 2 , after the journey of working with Change the Game , UHC has determined that I'm no longer in need of their services , but I disagree . However since I dare not delete this review to enter a 2nd one I'm simply adding this on .This business has grown on me almost like a part of a family . From the time that I'd enter the front door & encounter the happy smiling faces of the front end office ladies & the chat sections (what funny shirt did I wear that day)before meeting with my personal trainer . To the PT sessions whether dry needling was needed or not , then out to the equipment for my session of one on one therapy .Everybody & I mean everybody in this business is more than a pleasure to work with . Unfortunately all good things must come to an end , thanks UHC . So I can't just single out one person as being the best , recognizing them all is paramount .If anyone that reads this review has any doubts , don't be afraid to stop in & check them out .Because as I age & hurt some other body part I know for sure that ,,,, (wait for it) I'll be bauck .(from the terminator) . Sorry , that was bad !!!!!
