Up until they started canceling appointments on the regular we enjoyed going to them. The cancellations we have been getting the last couple of years is mind blowing! The issue seems to be lack of hygienists being there. I understand when one is sick, last week this was the case. The sweet receptionist rescheduled the appointment with another hygienist for this Friday. I received a call this morning that appointment was no longer because that hygienist (who was going to be a new hygienist) was not going to be there. They canceled once a few weeks in advance, that the hygienist wasn't going to be there and they had to reschedule. This was an appointment made 6 months in advance by that hygienist, not sure the situation there, however, it is a regular occurrence with this dentist office. NEVER have I been to a dentist office where this was an issue. They should have a contract with patients like they have for themselves if a patient cancels on them they charge a $50 fee. As patients when the appointment is canceled by them, there is ZERO compensation on their end.Not sure what the deal is with hygienists lack of availability, but this would be something I would look into if I were the dentist. Reliability is important, and when that is continually lacking trust is lost. We will not be going back. Sad that we try to keep our business in town, yet poor service or lack thereof, is a reason people go out of town. If you do plan to go here, expect frequent cancellations, when we are able to be seen, they did a good job.
