We have almost 2 acres of land so you can imagine the job it takes to keep our yard looking good. Lawn Bothers have been maintaining our property for the past two years since we switched from the company the former owners used. They are honest, fair and professional. Here's an example: They priced us for a fall cleanup. Not only were they the most affordable considering the size of the property but the job they did was exceptional over two days. Here's the kicker - They started on a Tuesday but had to come back. Wednesday it was crazy windy and rainy and sent many more leaves falling from trees. Thursday morning the yard was a mess again. They showed up 8AM and CLEANED THE WHOLE YARD AGAIN!!!! Good luck finding a company who does that without being asked or over charging. We have no personal relationship with the owners and rarely write reviews but we felt this was worth taking the time to write. Well done! Less

Hired Gerry and his crew to grade and seed our property after a pool installation. From the beginning he was very nice and responsive and his crew of guys were great. However we needed over 120 yards of dirt to fill in a major elevation change. Some areas needed upwards of 8-12 inches of fill. Despite a request to use fill he advised it best to use ALL screened Topsoil. In hindsight i believe it was because it’s a lot less labor then grading the property with regular fill then having to bring in topsoil to cover the entire top 2-3 inches. I also had them seed the property. The seed was simply dropped in place and wasn’t raked in as is industry standard. After a few watering and some wind and rain 50% of the seed washed away leaving us with huge 10 foot diameter patches of dirt which are now actually mud. Why mud you ask? Well back to the use of all topsoil. Topsoil has little structural integrity due to its high level of organic material that breaks down. Additionally it holds a great deal of water as opposed to regular fill which contains dirt, sand, rocks, pebbles etc…. All things that are good for drainage. So now we are left with what amounts to a giant swamp. You can’t step in the yard without sinking into about 6-8 inches of mud. Very dangerous for anyone, especially my 3 kids and dog. I reached out to Gerry and I was ignored 3 times. They were very responsive in the beginning of our project but once they were paid in full that all ended. I am ok with mistakes. We all make them but it’s how you respond and fix them that makes you a good company. I wouldn’t recommend them based on the way things ended with us and I’m certainly not done seeing this is made right. You can judge for yourself based on these pictures. This is after sprinklers running for 15 minutes per zone. The sod you see was put down by me because so much mud was coming up onto the brand new patio. So ask yourself. Does this look like a nicely graded and seeded lawn? Less
