I wasn’t sure how I could make it to 40 weeks. After all, I was barely halfway through my pregnancy!By the grace of God, I found Dr. Heather. She has the most healing hands and compassionate heart. Her adjustment technique is nothing short of miraculous. To my surprise, I went from being nearly crippled to fully mobile after just 2 adjustments! Keep in mind, I had to see her twice a week for the remainder of my pregnancy. But, she got me to the finish line!I now have the sweetest and most beautiful baby who sees Dr. Heather. My delivery was very long and she couldn’t move her head to the left without crying in pain - it was jammed in my birth canal for over 4 hours. Slowly but surely, she regained full mobility. Its harder for the doctor when patients do this and I'm thankful for his understanding due to my extreme travel schedule.I drive by many chiropractors to get to his office (by the way is in a good location and easy to access from the parking lot). These other Chiropractors may even take my insurance -- it doesn't matter as I will not give up quality of care to save a few $$$ on a co-pay. I'm not sure I could find the same type of care so I pay out of pocket just to see him.I think at times he is like a body/mind reader -- how does he know what type of adjustment is needed? He just does and it works. I can't tell you how many times I went in both in physical and emotional pain and he was there for me. Its more than just a place to get physically adjusted -- need a mental adjustment with positive words - its there. Need a smile when the day is horrible - its there. I could go on. He took his time explaining everything and you could see the passion he has for what he does. He put me face down on the table and adjusted me where my pain was that hurt so bad. This, however, was not the typical growing pain scream. He was up for hours, crying out if we touched or moved him. By morning, he was non weight bearing. We took him to urgent care where we ended up having to pin him down for x-rays. His scans came back clear with no sign of breaks or fractures. Then, because of his medical history, the provider thought it best to get blood work done with his oncologist. Several scary hours later, we were told his blood work came back great, no need to worry. Amazing yes but, he was still in incredible pain, still screaming out, still begging us not to move him. The medical doctor told us to give it 3-4 days and let him have “plenty of screen time” to feel better. That to us, was not a solution. So, we took him to R Family Chiropractic where Dr. Heather worked on our boy. When we came in, he couldn’t extend his legs, couldn’t lay flat on the table. When we left, he was walking, though with a limp and still in pain. We took him back the next morning and he left with a steadier gait and a big smile. By day three of care, he was back to his normal self. He was able to return to school and was doing flips on the trampoline. Had we followed “doctor’s orders” he would have still been sitting on the couch, watching TV, probably in the same situation as he was when we first took him to urgent care. I saw an advertisement about his new office a year ago on Facebook and decided to at least give it a try, especially that he advertised he had the right equipment to help him locate where adjustments need to be made as well as the correct exercises to do at home. I walked in terrified of chiropractors, but unable to work without getting some sort of treatment for my back. Let me just say his equipment does not lie! I've had many MRI's of my spine that told me where the nerve damage was located and his equipment showed the exact same spots. With his treatment plan and the at home exercises we were able to revive most of the nerves going out in my back! Unfortunately I have had some financial and transportation set backs and was unable to finish the treatment, but he explained to me how I can pay it accordingly to how each adjustment is charged. It was worth EVERY penny!!! I hope once my health is back in check that I can go back and receive further treatment!!! Dr Rodriguez saved my back. If it weren't for him I'd have so many more issues to worry about on top of my auto immune diseases!!!! I’ve been in multiple wrecks and one of them was pretty damaging, playing competitive sports, and working with my whole entire body all day as a hairstylist for over a decade. The pain in my ankles made it impossible for me to run without hurting myself, my right shoulder would become so locked up that I would have rather had someone rip it off of me, and my neck was easy to throw off and injury easily too. I was in too much pain and thought to myself... wow if I’m only 29 feelings this way, how much harder is it going to get?
