Learning a new language can be intimidating but Cosmopoli' French makes it a wonderful experience!If you know zero French (like I did), the elementary classes are perfect. You are challenged and learn very quickly, yet there is no pressure if you make a mistake. I have confidently blurted out the wrong answer several times as I have felt that it is a safe space to give it a crack.The small class sizes mean that each student gets feedback, particularly on their pronunciation which is challenging to replicate without an actual teacher. You are also taught about key subtleties and nuances in the language which apps like Duolingo just don't include. The 90-minute classes taught by Nathalie are really fun with a light-hearted atmosphere and I find it to be an enjoyable learning experience rather than a grind.Could not recommend Cosmopoli' French enough!

Not having studied French since high school days ( a looong time ago), I was a bit apprehensive about starting to learn again. I initially chose Cosmopoli’ French because of the small class sizes and I couldn’t be happier. The passion and enthusiasm of the teachers make the lessons really fun, with plenty of opportunity to speak and learn all sorts of fun facts about French culture . The atmosphere is super encouraging , and you will improve your pronunciation and understanding of how the language is spoken in “real life “.Whether you’re thinking of relearning French or wanting to learn the language for the first time, don’t hesitate to try Cosmopoli’ French !

I absolutely love my experience and lessons at Cosmopoli’ French! I studied French at university and, whilst my love for it remains, I had forgotten how to speak most of it and the apps were not helping. I decided to join the beginners’ class and it was the best thing I ever did!The teachers, Elsa and Nathalie, are high quality, kind teachers who allow you to be immersed in conversation rather than textbooks, so you actually learn and have fun! I felt instantly at ease and supported. There is also nothing more powerful than being in a group of like minded people learning something you love!I am looking forward to moving through all the levels. Do not be afraid to join thinking you do not know enough yet - this is the perfect place to start, or start again in my case, and truly learn French. You will love it!

I have done many french lessons in many formats over my years of learning french and none come close to how good lessons are Cosmopoli' French are. French lessons here are just fun, and you just can't help but learn, improve, and make friends along the way. The teachers are so welcoming, and they create such a relaxed and fun atmosphere to learn in. Cosmopoli' French emphasizes learning french the way native people speak, which makes it so much more useful for when you visit France, I have understood so many more conversations because I know the slang for a word for something. Finally, in class we are encouraged to speak, share and discuss things, which means each class you are looking forward to finding out how a classmates job interview went, or how they are going with goal they have set. I recommend this place to all my friends who want to learn french.

I have attended French classes for 2 terms and I have been very pleased with my progress. Lessons are dynamic and there is lots of opportunity to practise speaking. The teachers are excellent and responsive to each person's needs. They make learning fun and bring the class together to collaborate and help each other.
