As a curly girl for many years, I’ve always trusted going to someone who truly understands curls. When my previous hairdresser decided to go in a different direction, I was honestly a bit lost. She recommended I try Silc Curly Hair—and I’m so glad she did.I was not disappointed at all. I thought I had my curly hair routine down, but wow… I was so wrong. The experience here is completely different. They really take the time to educate you on your hair—what you’re doing, what you could do better, and how to actually work with your curls, not against them.I have about 12 different curl patterns, and for the first time ever I was shown how to bring them together, so they look consistent, defined, and healthy. The level of knowledge and care is next level.The treatment and wash were honestly the highlight for me. The head massage was incredible (who doesn’t love that), but the steamer just elevated the whole experience—total luxury, pamper vibes. They really focus on hydration and proper curl care, and you can feel the difference straight away.You can tell this isn’t just a haircut—it’s an education and a full experience. I’ve definitely found my new curly hair salon.Highly recommend to any curly girls out there! 💫

Jess is AMAZING! She truly cares about every client and spends a lot of time trying to help you improve your hair health and curly routine. My previous curly cut experience at another salon was not as good as my experience with Jess. The salon is also hijabi-friendly which is amazing!! Definitely recommend 1000/10!!

My experience was amazing. She was patient and explained everything perfectly. I told her my struggles with frizz and she handled it so well. She is very detailed and asks lots of questions about what you want from your visit (volume, definition, etc), she explained everything she was going to do before doing it so I had a clear understanding. The results were gorgeous, I’ve never seen my curls so healthy and perfect I was amazed. If you have curly hair and are considering going do it! So worth every penny 🤩

I had the best experience at Silc Curly Hair in Mermaid Beach today. If you’re looking for a true curly hair specialist on the Gold Coast, look no further! Jessica has so much knowledge about the different types of curls. She didn’t just give me an amazing dry curly cut, she actually took the time to educate me on my curl pattern and how to maintain it at home. My hair has never looked this healthy or defined, she honestly brought my curls back to life. It’s the best they’ve ever looked! I walked out feeling so much more confident and equipped with the right tips to manage my hair. Highly recommend if you're looking for a specialist curly hairdresser who really knows their stuff!
