I’ve worked with Emily at Pelvic Prescription for two months now and I’m already seeing more improvement in those two months than I did working with another PT for a whole year! For reference, I have endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, years of trauma, and a highly reactive nervous system. But that didn’t overwhelm Dr. Emily. Instead, she took time to understand how everything was working together. She has been incredibly patient and understanding with me, and is extremely knowledgeable. It’s amazing the progress you can make when you find the right team of healthcare providers that truly understands how your mind and body work together alongside chronic conditions. (P.S. I came to Dr. Newberry with lower back and pelvic floor problems after injuring myself weightlifting. She was attentive to my needs. Didn't judge me for what I felt were embarrassing bodily dysfunctions. I asked too many questions and needed lots of help relearning my body and movements, but Amy was so patient the whole time. She taught me stretches and exercises to do at home. I'm back to lifting but with more stability, more progress, and no pain.
