Vincent is a hella one of a guy! He came to my house for diagnostic for error code EL-01 which is communication error between inside head unit mini split vs. the outside compressor. After half an hour of troubleshooting he found the culprit it was swapped wiring between red & black. He switched the wire and finally it worked. This makes my day happy! He verified some of the pressure on the compressor to make sure everything is within the specs. And he found out it was too high and released some of them as well. Overall, I recommend this HVAC company for your quick fixed issues. Btw, he helps out too for loading my returned product to Home Depot. Great job Vincent! Less

Eric showed up on time with a fully equipped truck and analyzed the problem with our air conditioner. He explained that there was not enough Freon in the system and filled it. He was conscientious enough to check a second unit, discovered the same problem, and fixed it also. He then offered, and i accepted, to come into the house to check the effectiveness of both systems. American Alliance was sent out through First American Home Warranty as a second opinion. Vincent diagnosed that furnace, evaporator coil and condenser all needed to be replaced (the original contractor said only furnace and coil needed to be replaced and that condenser was fine - all equipment is 50+ years old and I argued that old condenser won’t work with new coil as they use different refrigerant). After my experience with the original contractor, I didn’t have high expectations for anyone that the home warranty was sending. But Mike then came and replaced all three pieces of equipment by himself and did a good job. He even pointed out that a shut off switch for condenser should be installed (which I knew from another source was valid and true) and was honest and forthcoming about the cost before he proceeded. American Alliance’s cost for things not covered by the home warranty were $2000 less than the original contractor for all 3 pieces of HVAC equipment versus the 2 that the original contractor said needed to be replaced. Vicent from American Alliance HVAC was wonderful last week, helping us out with furnance not working, no heating. My wife has cancer, so I have to be careful. Vicent was so nice, putting a mask on while working on the furnance. He arrived on time in the morning, and started to find the issue; soon we narrowed down to the capacity, but Vicent wanted to check the blower, making sure the blower be working fine. I think most others will not take the exact time to make sure, but he did. Initially due to missing part, Vicent said he be back next day morning with new part, which would be fine. But instead, he called in few hours asking if OK to come back, as he made time to get the part needed, and wanted to came back the same day to get the furnance working, so my wife could have heating sooner (at Bay area, we were having storm, very windy, cold, and raining); and of course once he came back, replaced the part, tested it, we started to have heating again !!
