I don't really clean my car. I might vacuum once or twice a year and get a basic wash every couple of months, but I've never gotten a full detail since picking it up brand new from the dealer in 2013. With the amount of wear and buildup that happened over the span of my four years of ownership, I was convinced the floor mats were supposed to look like they just got out of war. Matt from Solid Detailing came out and did the platinum detail on my car and went above and beyond expectation. The floor mats, which I was sure would need to just be replaced after having had gum stuck on one of them and probably about 4lbs of beach sand and shells, looked pretty near new and were cleaner than I could have ever hoped to have gotten them myself. My leather seats had developed a thick patina that I was sure was just how leather looks after a while, but Matt completely restored them to their former glory. The console, touch screen, arm rests, kick plates, and anything else that human or dust touches were all so finely detailed there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere inside the car. The exterior of my car had dulled over the years too, with minimal washing and almost no waxing on my part, but Matt was able to restore it to look showroom ready, and the rims (which had been scuffed and had tons of brake dust on them) were buffed out and cleaned to like new as well. Matt detailed every square inch of the inside and outside of my car, taking the time to really make sure it was done exceptionally well. After he completed the job, he walked me through what was done, showed me some before and afters, and ensured everything was to my liking before finishing up. I'm not normally someone who would shell out for a detail job, but it was well worth it to have it look, smell, and feel brand new after. Less
