My floors were very old and had worn spots that absorbed stain unevenly the first time. Eagle noticed it immediately, let me know, and came back the next day to redo the entire job at no additional cost. The results look fantastic. Most of the upstairs was noticeably worn through the finish and the stairs were in rough shape. He was able to offer a very competitive rate and a discount due to the high square footage. He was also able to coordinate with us on timelines due to ongoing moving obligations.In total the job lasted about 6 working days. We ended up going with a full sand and refinish job, using Pro Coat Aqua Pro Satin, without a stain. While on the job, Joel was always friendly and willing to answer any of my questions. Joel recently came out to refinish wood floors that my great grandfather installed 75-ish years ago. They'd been lived on, carpeted over and tiled over in some places, scraped by doors and furniture, you name it. And of course they had that telltale orangey finish that just isn't the vibe anymore.He was an absolute champ - the house doesn't have AC and he worked through some of the hottest days yet this year to bring our vision to life. These are 130 year old pine floors like all of them, they've gotten plenty of abuse, some areas more than others. From what they were to what they are is phenomenal. I just finished my meeting with Joel. He was here to evaluate damage to our wood floor due to a dishwasher malfunction. He checked carefully for any structural damage.
