He took right to my problem, dealt with my squirms and drained my abscess and just like that I am now comfortable at home with peace of mind knowing I was taken care of fast with by the nicest, most professional and clean dental team! What a great group of health workers from the front desk receptionists - to the dental hygienist, the X-ray gal and Dr. Dan, Dr. Nicki, they all treat you so nicely when you go in. A case of dental insurance fraud. About 3 weeks ago I had an appointment for a chipped crown. I have always used Dental Horizon for myself and family. On this day, as soon as I walked into the place I was informed to come in for X-ray. I was shocked because I had the appointment over the phone, I had not been checked out. So I questioned the lady as to why I need to be subjected to rays from the X-Ray when I had not been examined to know which tooth was having an issue. So she then ask me to go and lay down and wait for the specialist, who on coming in asked same. WOW you don't even know the tooth that got chipped and more so I did not complain of pains or anything of that nature. But even if I did, you nee to examine the patient to determine which tooth. So he now said that I should lay down so he can check. After his examination he now was insisting that he needs to do an X-ray, and I said why? its just a chipped tooth that needs to be fixed and more so, I have had a full X-ray done by them not long ago. Surprisingly he now said that, they don't have clear image of that particular tooth. WOW what a coincidence, the exact tooth you don't have a good image? I asked that the just fix the chip as I don't think I need an x-ray for the problem, mind you the tooth in question is fake tooth as I had root canal done about 5years ago, that the whole roots were removed. I don't even feel the tooth not to talk of pain. I felt I owe it to my society to call out such blatant wrong action just geared to making more money for their pockets as against the health of the patient. Less
