I don’t post reviews but we have had the best experience, so had to. I waited a year to post because I wanted to experience the deck. I can say for a fact that we have truly utilized the deck all year round. This project was a long time coming, and even after being ghosted by a popular company, Mike made our dreams come true. He was easy to remediate issues from permits to footings to nothing but perfection (I didn’t even notice the imperfections). He visualized my dream, gave me the options and made it come true. The TV, surround sound and the heaters make this an entertaining spot. The in post lighting provides a beautiful ambiance for movie night and relaxing.

Mike was punctual when he arrived for an estimate and his price was fair. Once agreed, I was on the schedule. His team went above and beyond! Even with the snow, they cleared the area and started the work building a roof over my patio, including lights and heaters! They finished on time and on budget. Mike even checked back in once the weather cleared to see if there was anything that needed attention, but, so far, it has not! I highly recommend Expert General Contracting if you’re in the market for a deck or roof!!

Recently I had the greatest experience making home improvements! We've all heard the horror stories and advice of caution of being a single mom but let me tell you that having had the privilege of working with Expert General Contractors was truly a breath of fresh air and fully realized dream of adding a deck to my home and yard. I worked with the company owner Mike from initial conversation through the final walk through. He was able to produce measurements, costs, and various examples at our initial estimate and discussion to help fully grasp and translate my visions and expectations into a glorious reality. After thorough discussion and accurate estimations he and his team of hard working builders wasted no time organizing and procuring the exact materials and delivery while clearing and preparing my underdeveloped yard for its spectacular transformation.
