We recently went with Beyond the Plains to Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Amboseli and Ngorongoro Crater and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully planned. Special mention to our Safari Specialist Felix. He was organised, communicative and very professional. We felt incredibly taken care of through him.An honourable mention to our driver Dan (Kenya) and Anderson (Tanzania) who are the kindest, down to earth most hard working men we’ve come across. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife, which made every game drive both educational and exciting. Even after 6 hours of driving (and half of us passed out in the car) they were alert the entire time to ensure we wouldn’t miss a single sight.One of the absolute highlights of our trip was seeing the Big 5 — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — all in their natural habitat! I kept being told how rare it was to see a leopard and Dan helped us spot one on our first game drive! Each sighting felt special and unhurried, and we always had time to truly take in the moment. The accommodations were comfortable and authentic, and the service was top-notch throughout.If you're looking for a safari experience that goes beyond expectations, Beyond the Plains is the way to go. We felt safe, inspired, and truly connected to nature every step of the way. Highly recommended!

The team is amazing. From the moment the first quote was shared by Linet, to the multiple iterations she made based on my preference, to Felix receiving me at my hotel with the guide along with a thoughtful safari hat, they are always available. Linet is always just few minutes away via WhatsApp for any queries i have above and beyond the safari too.Only thing I wish was better was the guide missed to bring his binoculars by mistake for safari; there was a minor change in itinerary (a short 2 hours) which the team compensated later too.Would highly recommend them for solo, couple, family and group trips too as they give specialized, safe and memorable trips for all types of travellers keeping comfort on mind too.

We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience! From the first contact with Felix who arranged everything for us in order to meet our preferences, to our guide, Kevin, who was not only a very talented guide but an even more talented driver. We really loved our time with Kevin, he made sure to do everything he could so we could have the best experience and he kept teaching us not only about the animals but also about the culture. Planning a safari trip for a beginner could be daunting, you will be offered various itineraries and quotations pretty much from different local tour operators and there was one offer that at first I was tempted to consider and that was to go off the beaten track, meaning away from major known Kenya's safari destinations. But then again, I was reminded that we were all first timers so why would we not go for the most visited and core safari spots then? So off we went for the magical and a lifetime safari excursions at Masai Mara, Lake Nakuro and Amboseli with our Safari guide/game driver and the kindest "BEN" from BEYOND THE PLAINS tour operator. I have to specially commend Ben's drive to offer us the most memorable Safari that we could ever ask for. We we were able to see the Big 5 within 3 days and seeing all the wildlife in their natural habitat freely moving, proudly claiming and owning their place was surreal, satisfying and liberating.
