I started experiencing lower back pains, mainly due to sitting at a desk for long periods of time as a result of my office job. I reached out to Michael who was my personal trainer for a 3 month period to help me to overcome these issues. He went through various rehabilitation exercises with me to implement into my gym workout routine. I was very impressed with his approach and found that he specialised the workouts according to my needs. He also built in some weight training and taught me how to use the gym equipment in the correct form. This allowed me to recognise where I was going wrong in the past with my weight training and how I didn’t do my back any favours over the years! In addition to this, he provided sound dietary advice to help me improve my diet outside of the gym. Since training alongside him, my back pains have significantly improved (at the moment I’m rarely experiencing them and he has also equipped me with the knowledge to prevent these issues in the future). I highly recommend him to anyone who is experiencing similar issues! Less

Strength rehab is not like gym strength (of which I have lots). It’s an ongoing process which works alongside cardio and weights. I was able to approach Michael and ask if I could book in for a taster session. Michael showed me more about positioning my footwork and to keep it in a diagonal line, improving my hooks, straight punches by using power from using the full body rather than just arms. Also tips on how to practice and a five way punch combination. Which I don't think I have been able do before. Would recommend Michael for someone who would like to learn or improve their boxing skill, I found him a good guy to learn and train with. He also encouraged me to take up pilates classes to reduce my muscle tightness. This actually Worked very well. We did a lot of boxercise work which I found very challenging initially, but I saw the benefits after a short space of time. Lastly he also helped me with nutrition by supplying me with high-quality energy shakes and vitamin tablets. Less

Michael is a great personal trainer. Before I started working with Michael I lacked my overall strength. I was in pain as I suffered from sciatic pain on and off for a few years. I've been training with Michael over the last couple of years, continuing over zoom during lockdown which was great to keep up a routine. We've since continued to train over zoom as Michael and I were able to fit around my busy schedule.
