I got my FL concealed carry license. Executive Gun and Joe Yagar were instrumental in obtaining it. The videos helped me understand the rights and risks as a gun owner and concealed carrier in FL. Also helped to understand the questions I had to answer in the application. Joe was great and patient for a newbie like me. He explained in a way that anybody can follow even if you are new like me or you already have experience. I will always remember him telling me "finger off the trigger" :) My son JJ also took the course and got certified with Joe. Now my wife and daughter want to take it too. We will see you soon! I make no bones about it - other than shooting in the woods with some friends, I’m a novice. But Joe was so helpful and didn’t treat me like an idiot. He gave me the foundation I needed to start being comfortable with a gun in my hand. I can also feel comfortable going to range now, because it’s waaaay different than shooting in the woods!

Move to Florida recently and have had a concealed carry weapon permit from my home state for over 25 years. Thought taking a course to recertify my competency was a bit overreaching and unnecessary. Signed up at Executive Gun and Joe was very enlightening and immensely helpful with great basic gun safety and techniques. The certification of completion to receive my Florida concealed carry permit was a necessary evil but the course was immensely enriching and Joe did a perfect job taking an “old dog” and teaching me many new techniques.
