There is only one diy bathing station. The water is just a tad too hot especially for summer. The room is also very warm. Make sure you and your dog are hydrated.

Taylor is amazing at what she does! I’ve had several grooming appointments with her at Carmel Groom & DIY Dog Wash, and she gets it right every time. She also takes the time to ask for feedback and truly cares about making sure you’re happy with the results. I highly recommend her services!

We’ve been taking our very large Newfoundland to Carmel Groom & DIY for at least a year. They’ve done a great job at handling him & helping us keep him clean/brushed. We recently switched to Erica who did our dog for the first time last week & did amazing!!I had originally asked the owner about availability to groom our new foster dog we have had for less than a week. They’re super booked out at Carmel groom (because they’re wonderful) but Erica went above & beyond to come in on her day off, a Friday, to do our foster dog. Our foster is a 180 lb overweight Newfoundland so it was not an easy task & took many hours but she did it! I am so thankful (and the rescue too) that he was groomed & im not sure if I could’ve found somewhere else that would be able to do it (he can’t get up onto tables / high surface because he’s overweight but Carmel groom is perfectly equipped). This says a lot about Carmel Groom & Erica that they made time to do this for us!!

Our Havanese puppy, Buddy, , is 10 months old and full of energy, and Becca is so sweet and gentle with him. He is apprehensive when we walk in, and he is chipper and feeling great when I pick him up after his spa day. It’s as if he knows how great he looks!

Lara is the best. So professional and accomodating. Chloe doesn’t mind being groomed. No cages and not a lot of dogs there.

I recommend Carmel Grooming. It’s a one on one grooming with Groomer and your dog. Your furry friend has the groomer’s undivided attention from drop off to pick up. Groomer goes above and beyond. ❤️ourBecca
