Absolutely terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend the head spa experience to anyone unless you’d like someone to shampoo your hair for $150.On their website their description of the service is: “This treatment includes aromatherapy, a scalp analysis, a deep scalp cleanse, a scalp massage, and targeted treatments for your scalp needs.”My technician never showed me a “before” image of my scalp, only an “after” image which was an incomplete part of what they call a “scalp analysis”. The scalp analysis is just them showing you your scalp up close, not really an “analysis” in my opinion. Additionally, there was no discussion about my hair type, scalp type, and personal hair care needs. No part of the experience included “targeted treatments.” Less

My first experience was wonderful. Really loved it. I booked a second experience. Unfortunately our entire household got the flu and I was very sick. I canceled with more than 24 hours notice (as soon as I tested positive) but they told me it wasn’t enough notice and charged me for half the treatment cost. (Their policy is 48 hours notice, but I couldn’t predict the flu). Should I have come with the flu and contaminated everyone? I understand cancellation fees, but this was extreme. Less

had a little bit of a rough start due to me not being able to make it to my original appointment due to sickness, but one of the owners Sean handled the situation for me and i was very satisfied. the service was great and very relaxing and my scalp feels amazing, it was definitely worth the hour drive Less

The Japanese head spa was One of the greatest things I have ever experienced! I visited Sydney Dean at the west side location and she was wonderful! Will definitely be back to see her soon ! Less

Did the ultimate Japenese Head Spa experience and absolutely loved it. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the spa and liked that the background music was lo-fi instead of the typical spa music. Emily did such a great job. Definitely worth the price and experience! 10/10 Less

Had an appointment for noon on 2/23, I had come down with the flu the night before and was getting sick all morning. I had called and left a voicemail to cancel and when they called back I was getting sick again so my husband answered, he explained the situation but they didn’t really seem to care and still charged us the full $200. This was supposed to be my Christmas present and it was all I asked for, I own a business myself that runs on appointments but I don’t punish my clients for getting sick, especially in a post covid world you’d expect a little bit more understanding. I’m not paying $400 for a 90 minute spa session so unfortunately I get nothing out of this. I understand charging the fee for other reasons but I had been looking forward to this for 2 months and it was completely out of my control Less

Ultimate Japanese Head Spa was the best experience! So relaxing and kind of fascinating to see my scalp’s issues up close—the massage combs feel great and the products and recommendations were perfect for me. Will definitely be back! I would get one every day if I could! Less
